    I ordered flowers on the Friday before Memorial Day to be delivered on Saturday. On Saturday afternoon I checked to see if the flowers had been received.. The had not.     I ordered a bouquet of flowers to be delivered as a surprise for a beloved's 50th birthday and it was not delivered.     Horribly disappointing. The order for My Granddaughters birthday was place at 0500 this morning for same day delivery. At 1630 that same evening I was notified that there was no one available to make a same day delivery at their location ( ELEVEN HOURS LATER LEAVING ME WITHOUT THE ABILITY TO FIND SOMEONE WHO COULD).     Blooms Today failed to deliver an arrangement for a funeral visitation. They state in their ads that accompany obituary notices that they guarantee same day service. Their customer service informed me that they would "for sure" get a floral arrrangement to the funeral. The customer service agent offered a 50% discount because of the mistake.     I ordered flowers for a funeral service an was informed an hour before the service that they could not be delivered. Even notice a day earlier would have allowed me to find a replacement.     My fiancé ordered flowers for me for my first Mother's Day since my son was born on Friday and also payed for next day delivery. Not only did they charge him hidden fees (a 9.99 membership fee?) but he did not receive his order the next day, or at all for that matter.     So very, very disappointed - and angry - with this company. I placed an order on Monday, May 6th (not yesterday, or today - but almost a WEEK ago) for a Mother's Day delivery in Hawaii.     Please, do not ever use this service! They are awful. Not only did my boss go out of his way to get me flowers for Admin Professionals Day today, he paid extra to make sure that they were delivered early. It is 5:40 and they are still not here.     Wish I had read all the other horrible reviews before I placed an order with Blooms Today. The first order was cancelled three days later when it was too late for the order to arrive in time for my friend's birthday. When I called customer sevice they said the arrangement I requested could not be filled but they would send a similar arrangement at a discounted price.     HORRIBLE! My husband tried to have 18 long stemmed roses and a "large" bear sent to my office between 9 and 11. I'm a hospice nurse and have to travel to see patients, and I was leaving that day at 11AM. He paid a total of $120. There were so many mess ups it will be easier to list them all. 1.     Valentine flowers for wife ordered and received on time 2/12/13. Lavender bouquet of 24 roses for 125.00. Roses had brown spots all over and wilted; white filler flowers were brown; looked crappy and were DOA. Called customer service on 2/14....closed.     I was pleased with the price for a bouquet of flowers I wanted to purchase, so I went ahead and ordered from Blooms Today, I did NOT receive any special "pop-up" or whatever they were trying to convince me of- notifying me that I was enrolling in Blooms Rewards program. Horrible Experience with this company. I spent $75.00 on flowers for my aunt's funeral that were worth less than $20.00. The arrangement looked pathetic. To make it even worse the note written did not even wrap properly. Words were cut off in the middle. There was obviously no quality control check before this was sent. Please save yourself the disappointment and find a better florist to order your flowers from.

I AM SO GLAD MY DAUGHTER TOLD ME TO GOOGLE BLOOMS TODAY I WOULD HAVE BEEN SO DISAPPOINTED IF I HAD ORDERED THESE FLOWERS THINKING I WAS GETTING A DEAL. REALLY wish I had checked reviews first. FIRST off they charged me TWICE on my order and then of course there is the 9.99 membership fee that they dont tell you about. I called them asking for a refund from the second charge, they DID refund me but then a week later charged me AGAIN. So I called and canceled my order. Have no idea if they will actually keep to their word. If they dont I'm going to have an extreme fit.

Always use your local florist!!! Google Florist in Your city state and scroll down to a local florist. You always get more flowers for your money. When you order from a wire service like Blooms Today, FTD, Teleflora they keep 29% of the money you pay for flowers. So if you send a 50.00 arrangement you will receive a 35.50 bunch of flowers. Trust me I am a florist. I see this stuff on all the time. USE A LOCAL FLORIST!!!!!

I have been failed before by a business promising a service of one kind or the other but I can honestly say I have never ever written a bad review until now. Such is my total disgust at this SHAM of a business.
Despite the fact that I was a little annoyed with the Rewards Program requirement popping up immediately I was ready to check out my order, I went with it figuring what the heck, I can take advantage of the discounts down the road.
But this garbage business confirmed my Valentines Day delivery a full 48 hours before the day so am sitting comfortable certain my flowers will get delivered to my girlfriend at her work place.
Not only were the floweres never delivered, there was no email or phone call confirmation of status of my delivery and when I called customer service, an auto recording said all deliveries "were in progress" was running all day and night so you couldn't even get a hold of anybody to ask.
Next morning, I call - put on hold for 30 minutes first thing in the morning (am assuming because there were many complaints coming in) and their best solution was a RE-DELIVERY a day late and perhaps $10 towards a future purchase that needed approval from some phantom manager.
Are you kidding me? RE-DELIVERY??? Suffice to say, Valentines Day was totally ruined - because nothing says Happy Valentines like "Sorry Honey, I REALLY did buy you flowers but I cannot tell you why you appear to be the only person who didn't receive them!".

Like my title says...save yourself some major pains and stay away from these pathetic inept scam artists!!!

I ordered flowers from Blooms Today for my cousin's funeral. Their website was connected to her on-line obituary. Blooms Today's order site filled in all the information regarding her funeral (time and place, etc.) I paid extra for early delivery. The flowers arrived after the funeral. When I called to complain, they said early delivery meant delivery by 1pm. The first person I spoke to was very rude. However, three different representatives later told me that I would get a full refund. Unfortunately, all I got was a coupon for $5 off my next order! As if I would ever order anything again from these people.

Blooms Today is garbage. They guaranteed to have the flowers delivered the same day and then contacted me to let me know the florist could not deliver the flowers 1 hour before closing time for any other florist and then their refund takes 5 to 7 days to be refunded back to my card and they charge me twice! It was supposed to be special and now its just not. They have testimonials on their page but only the few good that looks like they made up and no place to write the bad ones.

Total rip off! Don't purchase from them. Tell you that you get a immediate discount, then charge your credit card full price! They say in a confirmation email that the discount gets applied within 2 days back on your card. Not the way to do business!!

This company is a big time scam!
Beware...
The ad says: Save 50% if you order TODAY and are
a first-time sign up. To get that 50% you must
sign up for a monthly charge for $9.95 to become a ''member''.
My selection cost $150.00 I received a "discount" of $50..NOT 50%.

The bouquet was to be:
26"x 36"
It was:
22"x 26"
and there were but about a dozen flowers total.
WHAT a rip-off.

I was charged $8.55 for "sales tax" when I live in a state with NO sales tax!

I was told:
That the 50% MAX was 50$....
That the company was in Virginia and
charged sales tax on everyone and
that I had to fax a tax-exempt form
to get the sales tax removed. This
is contrary to Oregon Tax Statutes.

I have, so far, talked with two customer
service (Ha) persons and they both were
curt, unfriendly, and defensive. They
must get a dozen calls a day, no wonder.

DO NOT buy from bloomstoday !!!!!

Without my knowledge or authorization, (like the previous reviewer) Blooms Today gave my credit card information to a scam organization that attempted to enroll me in one of their many schemes to charge me an automatic annual fee of $149 for "discount coupons." I researched the affiliate company, CompleteHome, and found that they are just one of several scam companies operated by Trilegiant Corporation in Norwalk, CT. They have been sued for credit card fraud in almost every state in the U.S.! I have filed complaints withe the Federal Trade Commission and the attorneys general in the states of VA (where Blooms Today is located), CT (where Trilegiant is located), TN (where CompleteHome has a post office box) and the state in which I live. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING from Blooms Today or you will risk credit card fraud and/or identity theft!‎

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EEEEEVER. My husband ordered flowers for me from bloomstoday.com in Feb. 2009. I haven't really been checking the debit card he ordered the flowers on for various reasons. In Feb. 2010 I decided to check the account and lo and behold, they were charging us $9.95 a month for the past year! When I called up to speak to them and tell them I have no idea what I'm being charged for, they said it was a fee for bloomsrewards, which you are automatically enrolled in when you purchase flowers. They were extremely rude and huffily agreed to cancel my subscription after I told them I had no clue what they were talking about, but just HUNG UP on me when I started asking them about reversing the charges. They wouldn't even let me speak and hung up on me...TWICE!!!!
I would NEVER EVER suggest anybody order from them. I have spent $120 in the last year for nothing and they wouldn't even say 'sorry we can't reverse the charges'. HORRIBLE!!

I do not see how it could have "automatically" signed you up, as you have to enter your email address and create a password (and confirm that password) Agreeing to try to program is what entitles you to the 50% off. This was by far the worst experience I have had ordering flowers on line for mothers day. I should have stuck with ProFlowers but I needed the flowers to arrive the next day and ProFlowers did not offer that option. Blooms Today did. The picture of the flowers Blooms Today showed on line I was interested in looked as good as ProFlowers. But when I arrived to visit my mother several days later, I was never so embarrassed and humiliated by the arrangement they had delivered. There were no more than 6 or 7 small flowers maybe 8 inches high - it looked like a small bouquet that might be placed in the middle of a table at an inexpensive wedding! Not worth the nearly $60.00 they charged. These maybe were worth maybe $10.00.

The worst service and disappointment I can imagine. Supposedly, they called about an order I'd place before leaving on vacation. I rec'd no message from them. They canceled my order which was for Easter and family in memory of our mother who'd passed recently. Flowers to be delivered days before the holiday to ensure people arriving from out of town would know we were thinking of her. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!
